I’m Lauren, some call me “lo”

Texas native, I'm a multidisciplinary artist with a background in photography and fibers art. In 2020, just like the most of us, I was trying to find something to soothe my anxiety. What started with embroidery, led to so much more in fiber art making. By blending abstract forms and intricate textures, I aim to inspire "play” in art. The importance of transformation, emotional expression, are vital in my work. What started as a way to ease my personal anxieties, has now turned into my long life mission: creating art to heal and become our most playful, loving selves.
